[ IMPS ]

A broad name for a variety of mischief-causing demons, Imps are generally small and irritating. They target both humans and other demons with their antics and have no regard for the well-being of their victims. They love to eat and cannot resist dairy or sugar. They have little strength to back them up and must rely on their speed.

THREAT LEVEL: ★☆☆
WEAKNESSES: fire, metal, magic, fatal wounds
POWERS: clever, speed
LOCATIONS: Sticking close to humans, they usually inhabit the dark seculded places in homes and business centres such as basements or ventilation shafts.



[ JABOR ]

One of the lackeys of the demon world, Jabor demons are subservient and loyal. They cling together in packs until another demon or being takes 'possession' of it through a show of force. After that a Jabor is bonded to his leader and will follow all orders. Practically unable to think for themselves, the weak willed Jabor are not always able to make full use of their skills without the right command.

THREAT LEVEL: ★☆☆
WEAKNESSES: fire, holy water, magic, metal, fatal wound, salt
POWERS: strength, thick skinned
LOCATIONS: While unattached they are usually in isolated areas and demon nests, after another claims them they are almost always near their master.



[ TRAPPER ]

A strange creature, the trapper is small and somewhat resembles a scorpion. It's blind and locates its prey by sound and vibration. It can be recognized by its characteristic high-pitched chirping, and will glow a deep green when preparing to attack. Once found, it will send out a blast of magical energy, paralysing its victim.

THREAT LEVEL: ★☆☆
WEAKNESSES: metal, fatal wound
POWERS: paralysing magic
LOCATIONS: These demons are almost always conjured by a larger creature as a sort of bait, so their locations vary greatly.



[ BANSHEE ]

Fairly rare, these demons wander the earth feeding on souls in great pain. Traditionally known as omens of death, banshees are not as innocent as people think.

THREAT LEVEL: ★★☆
WEAKNESSES: magic, fire, decapitation
POWERS: high pitched scream that can burst blood vessels, kill a mortal or turn a witch into a banshee
LOCATIONS: In areas where there is much pain, this demon uses her voice to locate victims by zeroing in on the waves of pain that emanate from the stricken.



[ BOGLE ]

Traditionally used as threat to get small children to behave, this creature evolved from the original bogeyman. It causes and feeds off of fear, sometimes tormenting a victim until they go insane.

THREAT LEVEL: ★★☆
WEAKNESSES: magic, good luck charms, fire, light
POWERS: psychological powers, ability to tap into fears, remains incorporeal until they have gathered enough strength to manifest, if one has manifested, it gains much strength
LOCATIONS: In areas where there are many children, (playgrounds, schools, etc.) frequently the bogle will hide out of sight and call to the children, luring them away from safety.



[ BONETHIEF ]

Vaguely resembling a humanoid praying mantis, these creatures are dangerous on their own, but their most deadly ability is burrowing into a living human and controlling it completely. If a human is infected, they will act dazed and rant about nonsense. If a bonethief infects a human, there is very little chance of survival.

THREAT LEVEL: ★★☆
WEAKNESSES: decapitation, fire, exorcism, fatal wound
POWERS: possession
LOCATIONS: Areas of high population, these demons are smart enough to stick to alleys and shadows around cinemas or nightclubs.



[ CROCELL ]

Drawing its power from water, Crocell doesn't stray too far from a source, preferring to live in ponds and lakes, but can be drawn out of its natural element by flooding or heavy rains. It feeds on energy and quickly drains victims, leaving desiccated corpses.

THREAT LEVEL: ★★☆
WEAKNESSES: fire, metal, magic, fatal wounds, salt
POWERS: strength,
LOCATIONS: Found in fresh water rather than salt, this demon tends to stay near the edges of populated areas.



[ HELLHOUND ]

Usually appearing as unnaturally large black dogs, these demons are easily differentiated by their glowing red eyes and super strength. Legend says if you are unlucky enough to see one of these beasts three times, you will die soon thereafter.

THREAT LEVEL: ★★☆
WEAKNESSES: holy water, fire, decapitation, metal, fatal wound
POWERS: Super speed, super strength
LOCATIONS: Traditionally known as guardians of the underworld, these demonic dogs are usually found near cemeteries.



[ BARBAS ]

An upper level demon, Barbas can sense a person's greatest fear and turn it against them, killing or manipulating a victim into doing what he wants. He has been vanquished but keeps coming back.

THREAT LEVEL: ★★★
WEAKNESSES: the truly fearless, magic
POWERS: the ability to see hidden fears and magically convince his victim they are coming true
LOCATIONS: Drawn to areas of high population, Barbas goes where he pleases, but tends to stay near magic. If he can kill thirteen unmarried witches on a Friday the thirteenth, he will become truly invincible.



[ HORROR ]

Conjured by another being, Horrors are large, lumbering hulks that are very dangerous. They have three heads and the ability to attack magically, feeding on it's victim's health or magic. Frequently uses trappers to lure victims.

THREAT LEVEL: ★★★
WEAKNESSES: total decapitation
POWERS: strength, magic, near invulnerability
LOCATIONS: Drawn to areas of high population, Horrors are also fond of nests of demonic activity and sewers/underground.



[ VAMPIRES ]

Easily recognizable by their facial alterations (ridged brows, golden eyes and fangs), vampires are extremely deadly and kill without prejudice. They frequently travel in packs, or clans, and are to be avoided at all costs.

THREAT LEVEL: ★★★
WEAKNESSES: fire, sunlight, decapitation, wound through the heart, crosses, holy water
POWERS: superhuman strength, hypnosis
LOCATIONS: Drawn to areas of high population, vampires only come out after dark. They can also frequently be found in cemeteries and often use sewers to traverse towns.
